Progressive Companies has built one of the longest-standing relationships with Toyota Motor North America, dating back to the inception of the Toyota Image USA program. Over the years, we have collaborated on more than a dozen new and renovated dealerships, both locally and nationwide. Toyota’s dealership image program, Image USA II, sets the industry benchmark, ensuring Toyota dealers maintain a distinctive and recognizable brand identity. As part of our unwavering commitment to our clients, we facilitate the design process in partnership with Toyota Motor North America, its regional teams, esteemed design partners, and preferred vendors, ensuring seamless execution and brand alignment.
Mountain States Toyota, Denver, CO
Progressive Companies partnered with Sonic Automotive to develop a cutting-edge Toyota facility in Denver, CO; an impressive 85,000 square-foot dealership featuring a thoughtfully designed two-story structure. The expansive 12,000 square-foot showroom displays eight vehicles, complemented by multiple sales stations, a comfortable customer lounge, and a boutique retail area. Adjacent to the showroom, a 7,000 square-foot covered service reception area with four lanes accommodates up to 20 vehicles, leading to a state-of-the-art service shop housing 54 bays, five detail bays, and a tunnel car wash. The second floor offers an additional 14,000 square feet dedicated to administration, support areas, and expanded parts storage.
As the No. 1 volume Toyota dealer in Colorado, according to Toyota Motor Sales’ 2024 new retail sales data, Mountain States Toyota required a significant renovation and expansion to meet growing customer demand. Once again, Progressive Companies and Sonic Automotive collaborated to deliver an optimized solution. The expansion included a 12,000 square-foot addition to the service shop, incorporating 20 new technician bays, an alignment and compressor room, and a 4,500 square-foot extension to the covered service reception lanes. Enhancements also included the addition of new service advisor stations, upgraded customer and technician restrooms, and a striking second-floor technician breakroom. Furthermore, a new car wash tunnel was integrated into the site, reinforcing operational efficiency and customer convenience.
Modern Toyota, Winston Salem, NC
Progressive Companies designed a 37,400 square-foot LEED-certified Toyota Sales Showroom and service drive for Modern Automotive in Winston Salem, NC. In compliance with the Image USA II standards, this innovative two-story facility seamlessly blends functionality and sustainability. The showroom accommodates 8-10 display vehicles and features a five-bay vehicle delivery area, multiple customer lounge configurations with over 40 seats, a parts and accessories boutique, and various customer support areas.
The second floor spans 9,000 square feet, housing administrative offices and staff support spaces. The covered service drive includes 14 advisor podiums and accommodates up to 12 vehicles, ensuring a streamlined service experience.
Modern Automotive set out to create a dealership that prioritizes sustainability for customers, employees, and the broader community. With 355 solar panels installed on the roof, canopy-supported charging stations, and a range of energy-efficient solutions, the facility significantly reduces its environmental footprint. The design also enhances indoor air quality, lowers carbon emissions, conserves water, and fosters a healthier environment for both customers and staff.
