Through our ongoing collaboration with Mazda, its design partners, and other preferred vendors, we have helped bring their vision to life, learning the intricacies of implementing these design standards for dealers across various stages.

The Mazda Retail Evolution Prototype exemplifies a bold and modern identity, showcasing a sleek, refined aesthetic that appeals to Mazda’s sophisticated customer base. The exterior is distinguished by smooth metal panels, creating a contemporary yet timeless look. A curated color palette of black, white, and natural wood enhances the architectural form, framing the signature Jewel Box with clean lines and premium materials. The design balances simplicity with elegance, creating a striking presence on automotive row, while fostering an inviting atmosphere for customers.

Fox Mazda/Ford, Grand Rapids, MI

This project involved integrating a 10,000 square-foot Mazda dealership into an existing Ford facility. Following Mazda’s Retail Revolution Program, the design focused on enhancing sales and increasing brand recognition. A highly transparent façade offers clear sightlines for sales staff, while the prominent signage ensures maximum visibility for both interior and exterior perspectives. The site plan was optimized to improve showroom visibility, overcoming significant setbacks from the main roadway.

Modern Mazda of Burlington Showroom Renovation, Burlington, NC

Progressive Companies completed a comprehensive renovation of the Modern Mazda showroom in Burlington, NC. The 7,000 square-foot space underwent significant upgrades, including new interior partitions, millwork, and updated finishes. The exterior also received a refresh with new signage, cladding, and finishes, all aligned with the latest Mazda Image Standards (MIS) Program.

Modern Mazda of Burlington Future New Facility, Burlington, NC

Progressive Companies is currently developing a new 17,200 square-foot Mazda facility for Modern Automotive. Scheduled for completion in the future, this one-story building will feature a 7-bay service shop, an additional alignment bay, and a spacious 4-car open-air service reception drive. Additionally, a 1,200 square-foot parts storage area and 5,700 square-foot of sales and showroom space will be incorporated, all designed in accordance with Mazda’s Retail Evolution Program. The project will be executed in two phases to minimize disruption to ongoing operations, ensuring a seamless transition to the new facility while enhancing both functionality and customer experience.
