Starting with the Gen-2 and Gen-3 design programs, Progressive Companies has built a strong partnership with Honda. Over the years, we’ve developed a deep understanding of the evolving Honda Blue Stage prototype, mastering its implementation in both new construction and renovation projects. We work closely with Honda and preferred vendors to ensure a smooth design process and successful project execution.
The Honda Blue Stage prototype is a modern, timeless design that emphasizes openness, accessibility, and flexibility. The storefront features maximized glazing and Honda’s signature Blue Frame, offering a welcoming aesthetic. The addition of an outdoor Pavilion element creates an engaging display for vehicles and enhances the integration of the showroom and exterior lot. Inside, the spacious showroom is designed to showcase vehicles as the focal point, with a layout that allows for future growth and adaptability.
Blue Stage Renovations Nationwide
Progressive Companies is leading several renovation and new-build projects across the country for Lithia Motors. These include Rock Honda in Fontana, California; Curry Honda in Chamblee, Georgia; Hamilton Honda in Hamilton Township, New Jersey; and Largo Honda in Florida City, Florida. Each project updates the dealerships to the latest Honda Blue Stage standards, improving both aesthetics and functionality.
Renovations include a modernized exterior façade, a new vehicle display plaza with the signature Blue Frame, and an upgraded service drive. Interior updates feature redesigned showrooms, welcoming entry areas, digital consultation spaces, and Finance & Insurance (F&I) offices. Additional improvements include refreshed sales offices, customer lounges, service vehicle reception, and retail parts and accessories areas. Back-of-house renovations bring new finishes, furniture, ceilings, and lighting, ensuring a consistent, elevated customer experience.
Honda of Huntersville, Huntersville, NC
In partnership with Hudson Automotive Group, Progressive Companies is modernizing Honda of Huntersville in Huntersville, North Carolina. The project includes a renovation of the existing 9,549 square feet showroom to accommodate a new service area. The building will expand by 24,761 square feet to comply with the Honda Blue Stage program, adding a new showroom, a three-lane service reception drive, and eight express service bays. The second floor will include associate spaces such as a breakroom, training room, offices, and restrooms.
A stand-alone car wash and detail building will also be constructed, featuring four detail bays and a car wash tunnel. These enhancements reflect our commitment to delivering innovative dealership facilities that enhance both operational efficiency and the customer experience. Progressive Companies continues to demonstrate its expertise in automotive retail design, working with Honda to create customer-centric dealership environments that reflect the brand’s forward-thinking vision.
