In 2019, Progressive Companies successfully completed a multi-phase, 9,300-square-foot renovation and expansion project for Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The new contemporary worship center, fellowship addition, and entrance were meticulously designed and constructed in three seamlessly overlapping phases to address the evolving needs of the church. Fueled by a $5.8 million capital campaign, the project boasts a non-traditional worship center equipped with theatrical lighting, an acoustical cloud ceiling, and a hearing loop, enhancing inclusivity. The fellowship addition, a 3,000-square-foot space with cathedral ceilings and clerestory windows, not only adjoins the worship center but also doubles as overflow seating. The new entrance mirrors the church's main entrance to harmoniously blend with the original design, creating a cohesive and welcoming architectural ensemble.
