St. Peter Catholic Church underwent a transformative renovation and expansion project in collaboration with Progressive Companies, fulfilling the first phase of their visionary campus growth plan. The project addressed longstanding needs, introducing a new gathering space with panoramic views of Kalamazoo Lake, a chapel overlooking a prayer garden, and a refreshed worship space. With a focus on community-building and inclusivity, the design seamlessly blends traditional elements with modern functionality. Clear glass additions honor the church's history while inviting transparency and hospitality to all. The prayer garden, completed in 2021, further enhances the worship experience, providing a peaceful outdoor sanctuary for parishioners and the wider community to connect with nature and spirituality.
