Our Work
Student-Centric Environments
Where Expertise Meets Understanding
Housing & Facilities Leadership
Every building a campus adds, from a new residence hall to a renovated academic space, is a financial commitment made years before it opens, and a structure facilities teams will run for decades after. When enrollment shifts and construction costs climb, housing has to work as a recruitment tool and a balance sheet decision, not just a place to sleep. We've delivered student housing through public private partnerships at this scale before, aligning financing, phasing, and design so campus buildings support the institution's mission, ease long-term operations, and don't strain the budget.
Student Affairs & Student Life
Students choose to stay at a school that feels like it's theirs. When a dining hall, lounge, or resource center feels like an afterthought, students disengage, and retention follows them out the door. We design student life spaces around belonging and everyday use, turning underused corners of campus into the places students want to spend their time.
Provosts, Deans & Faculty
Pedagogy keeps changing, and buildings built for lecture alone can't keep up with active, collaborative, interdisciplinary learning. A classroom that can't flex with how faculty teach becomes a liability the moment the curriculum evolves. We design academic spaces that adapt with pedagogy instead of working against it, supporting the kind of teaching that keeps a program competitive.
Athletic Directors & Collegiate Athletics
The right facility does more than host a game, it wins the recruit standing in the doorway, gives alumni a program they're proud to invest in, and gives every student-athlete an experience worth talking about. We design athletic and recreation spaces that compete for top talent, strengthen campus identity, and turn game day into a lasting connection. Athletics isn't separate from the student experience. It's part of how a campus tells its story, and how that story keeps alumni and donors coming back.
Our Commitment to You

Partners for the Long Haul
Our multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and designers doesn't just build buildings, we build lasting partnerships. From Michigan State to Duke to Purdue, colleges keep coming back because we work alongside them, not just for them.

Design That Delivers
Great design shouldn't come at the expense of budget or performance. We balance strategic vision with real-world results, better energy performance, lower operating costs, and spaces that hold up long after the ribbon-cutting.
Built for Belonging
As leaders in inclusive and sustainable design, we create spaces that are not only beautiful, but they also help reduce the effects of climate change and promote a sense of belonging for all.

Belonging as Campus Infrastructure
Every building sends a signal about who is welcome long before a student reads a single sign. Learn what it means for housing, learning spaces, and campus architecture, and how small design choices shape whether students feel like they belong.
