Progressive Companies Names Jeff Roman as Principal

Progressive Companies has announced the appointment of Jeff Roman, P.E., Director of Engineering, as a Principal of the firm. In addition to his current role as Director, Roman is involved in key strategic decisions for the future of the organization. He also plays a key role in recruiting and developing future leaders of Progressive Companies.

In his current role, Roman serves as the Director of Engineering, leading multiple disciplines across Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Master Planning, Surveying & Mapping, and Water Resources. This role has enabled him to drive impact across the firm’s multidisciplinary approach; building stronger, cohesive value for our clients.

As a technical expert in the engineering discipline, Roman was named 2021 Engineer of the Year by the Professional Engineers of North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and an MBA from the University of Florida. His unique blend of technical excellence and business acumen has made him a respected voice across teams and disciplines.
