Beatrice Buck's Paradise Valley Park

A thoughtful park refresh can transform underused areas into inviting destinations that encourage people to slow down, connect, and stay a while. The redevelopment and upgrade of Beatrice Buck's Paradise Valley Par, resulted in a more vibrant community asset that supports everyday recreation, social interaction, and meaningful connections with the outdoors.

Our team harnessed landscape architecture and lighting design to breathe new life into this well-loved feature of the Paradise Valley district. In collaboration with key stakeholders in the City of Detroit, Progressive Companies preserved the meaningful elements of the park while introducing flexible gathering areas, comfortable seating, and enhanced landscaping. The transformation features new green spaces, as well as benches and picnic tables, promoting opportunities for the community to gather and enjoy the environment.
