Erick’s lighting design experience includes more than 15 years of work across multiple genres of lighting, including architecture, live performance, television, and live events. Feature architectural projects include dynamic façade lighting for 230 Park Ave in New York City, various interior and exterior lighting updates for Grand Central Terminal, and lighting for the Ann B. Barshinger Center Institute, winner of a 2014 AIA National Healthcare Design Award. Erick works closely with the project design team to illuminate key features and ensure lighting is aligned with project design goals. His extensive architectural lighting experience includes work in corporate interiors, commercial, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, retail, historic, infrastructure, and gaming both nationally and internationally. Erick’s background allows him to provide a full complement of lighting services from concept development to project completion.

“While the primary function of lighting is to illuminate the space for navigation and wayfinding, lighting plays an equally important role in how a space feels,” says Erick. “Through careful application of lighting and strong collaboration with the design team and owner, lighting design can help to shape the perception of the space, converting ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences.”
