
Mike Rosen, AIA, Joins Progressive AE as Housing Practice Leader
Mike Rosen has joined Progressive AE as the newest practice leader and is charged with growing the firm’s national housing footprint. In addition to Mike’s industry expertise, he will leverage Progressive AE’s 30 years’ experience and corresponding portfolio in market rate, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and student housing projects.

Areas of Mike’s expertise include master planning, entitlement, new product design, visualization services, expert witness reports, real estate evaluation, highest and best use studies, and sustainability and technology consulting. With his extensive expertise and a robust portfolio of market-rate housing and mixed-use projects, Mike is well-positioned to lead Progressive AE forward on a national level. He has experience working for large firms as well as running his own practice.
With extensive market growth identified along the eastern seaboard, Mike will focus special attention in that region and work to establish a presence in Progressive AE’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office. He will also travel regularly to the firm’s corporate office in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to continue expanding the practice in the Midwest.

He is a sought after public speaker on a variety of housing topics and has garnered recognition in publications such as the Philadelphia Business Journal, Residential Architect, The New York Times, Computer Graphics World, and The Wall Street Journal. He holds licenses in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
