Community Plumbing Challenge - Day 2

Day 2

Construction started immediately this morning with a lot of unforeseen problems with the delivery of materials in a timely and well-accounted manner. There is a lot of work to be done, and not a lot of time. The renovated wash room needs to be completed by end of day three.

This day was a great teaching and learning experience. The teams practiced their lesson plans that were created to promote the importance of hand washing for health purposes. All the kids and teams seemed to have a blast working together, and it was inspirational to watch everything unfold. The end of day two was a trip to the center of the city for some enjoyment time, but there is still a lot of construction work to be completed.
