Chris serves as the lead structural engineer for projects of varying complexity and provides technical assistance during project construction to resolve unexpected field conditions. Having comprehensive experience in design and analysis of commercial and industrial building facilities, Chris acts as a strategic partner and trusted client liason on projects. He is comfortable performing engineering for a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. Chris also acts as a leader and mentor within our structural engineering discipline.

“I consider good structural design and detailing an art form that involves a high level of creativity, thoughtfulness, and judgment,” says Chris. “It’s really fulfilling to be able to support the visions of our architectural team in creating unique building elements and spaces with tight constraints that afford our engineers unique challenges on how to accomplish solving a problem. We pride ourselves in designing solutions that, although generally not visible, make people stop and think – ‘how did they do that?’ It can be an incredibly challenging and rewarding profession.”
