Surgical, Behavioral, and Oncology Environments

At life’s most vulnerable moments, environment matters.
Every decision you make impacts patient care. How quickly you can move, how clearly you can see, and how effectively your team can respond all matter. When the environment creates friction, it pulls focus away from what matters most.
Surgical, oncology, and behavioral environments should reduce stress for patients and families while supporting the precision, efficiency, and adaptability clinicians need. Thoughtful design creates calm where there is uncertainty, clarity where there is complexity, and control where it is needed most.
The result is a space that supports your team and your patients at every step of the care journey.
At Progressive Companies, every design, architectural, and engineering decision we make comes back to helping you achieve your vision in creating the best heatlthcare environment possible.
Our Specialties
Surgical
Surgical environments must keep cases moving, support clinical teams, and never compromise patient safety. We design spaces to streamline flow, reduce turnover time, and align with clinical protocols so centers operate efficiently, are easy to maintain, and remain adaptable to evolving care and technology.

Oncology
Oncology care demands environments that support long, complex patient journeys while enabling coordinated, efficient treatment. We focus on creating spaces that improve flow, expand infusion capacity, and integrate services. The result is centers with calm, supportive spaces that reduce stress and easily adapt to evolving care models and technology.

Behavioral
Environments shape how behavioral health care is experienced and delivered. Designed to promote safety, dignity, and trust, the spaces we build balance visibility with privacy, reduce stress, support de-escalation. All to create a sense of calm, while remaining durable, efficient, and adaptable to evolving care needs.

The best healthcare environments come from truly understanding how care is delivered. When design is grounded in operations, aligned to performance, and delivered through an integrated team, it becomes a powerful tool for better outcomes."
Our Work
